In charge of creating and initiating multiple design projects for the construction of a 15 metric-kiloton neutrino detector as part of a $50 million dollar contract with the Department of Energy. Manufacture and implement design parts and assign tasks to research assistants requiring the use of welding tools, lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and other power tools. Work with suppliers and professors to address and resolve issues. Manage and oversee a team of 15 research assistants in building modules. Test the quality of work performed. Maintain laboratory equipment. Use Pro/ENGINEER and SolidWorks for project design, documentation, and proposals.

Responsible for design / manufacture of automatic positioning system for biological fluids. Designed and constructed user-friendly product enclosure. Performed component / enclosure analysis using ANSYS & SolidWorks for heat transfer simulations. Presented design ideas, performed lab work, and evaluated results with data collection systems and engineering software.
